These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and travel services offered by JollyEast. By booking through our website, platform, or authorized agents, you (“the customer”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 For your convenience, prices on the JollyEast website may be displayed in multiple currencies (e.g., USD, EUR, HKD); however, all payments are ultimately processed in Chinese Yuan (CNY). The final amount charged may vary slightly depending on your bank’s exchange rate and any international transaction fees.

1.2 JollyEast is not responsible for currency fluctuations or fees charged by your card provider, bank, or payment platform.

1.3 In the event of a cancellation and refund, a 3% processing fee will be deducted from the original payment to cover transaction and administrative costs.

1.4 A confirmation email with itinerary and invoice will be issued once payment is received. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify all details and notify us of any discrepancies promptly.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@fashionbagworld.com. The refund policy is as follows:

Exceptions:

  • Peak holiday periods (e.g., Chinese New Year, National Day) may require 15days’ notice for a refund.
  • Certain pre-booked services such as flights, hotel rooms, train tickets, shows, or attraction passes are subject to the refund and cancellation policies of third-party providers, and may or may not be refundable. Refund eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

3. Itinerary Changes

3.1 JollyEast reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, supplier availability, local events, or safety concerns.

3.2 Customer-initiated changes after confirmation may incur a $25 USD administrative fee plus any third-party charges.

4. Responsibilities and Liabilities

4.1 JollyEast acts as a booking agent for third-party service providers, including transport companies, hotels, guides, and local operators.

4.2 We are not responsible for losses, injuries, delays, or service disruptions caused by:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather
  • Government restrictions or strikes
  • Health emergencies or epidemics
  • Delays by transport providers or suppliers

4.3 We reserve the right to deny service to clients who are disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to staff, guides, or other travelers.

5. Travel Documentation & Insurance

5.1 Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, permits, and vaccinations.

5.2 JollyEast is not liable for costs or delays resulting from incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.

5.3 Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended, including:

  • Emergency medical and evacuation coverage
  • Trip cancellation/interruption coverage
  • Lost baggage or property

5.4 In high-altitude or remote regions, a medical certificate may be required.

6. Force Majeure

6.1 JollyEast will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations when such failure is caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or government actions.

6.2 We will work to offer alternative arrangements or partial refunds where feasible.

7. Lost & Found

7.1 Assistance will be provided for retrieving lost items when possible. A handling fee and delivery charges will apply.

7.2 JollyEast is not responsible for lost or stolen items during tours or transfers.

8. Promotional Use of Photos

Photos or videos taken during tours may be used for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please notify your guide in writing at the beginning of the tour.

9. Health, Safety & Conduct

9.1 Travelers must assess their physical suitability for the selected activities. Certain tours may involve hiking, walking, or other physically demanding elements.

9.2 Participation may be denied without refund to any individual who:

  • Appears intoxicated or disruptive
  • Poses a risk to themselves or others

9.3 Medical or accessibility concerns should be disclosed before booking.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JollyEast is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the legal procedures of that jurisdiction.
